Visualping Launches MCP Server for AI Coding Agents
Visualping, the world’s leading page monitoring agent used by teams at 85% of Fortune 500 companies, has launched the public beta of its MCP server.

VANCOUVER, B.C – Jul 1, 2026 – Visualping, the world’s leading page monitoring agent used by teams at 85% of Fortune 500 companies, has launched the public beta of its MCP server.

It’s a secure, first-party way to connect Visualping to AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and other clients that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard that lets AI agents work with outside tools.

Once connected, developers can create, edit, and view web page monitors in plain language and get a clear summary of what changed each time a page updates.

Coding agents can already reason and write code, but most have no reliable way to watch a web page over time. The Visualping MCP gives them that missing piece.

Behind each monitor, Visualping handles the work that makes web monitoring reliable, including visual comparison, AI summaries of what changed, and screenshot storage. Developers can also connect it alongside the other tools in their stack, such as GitHub, Slack, and Linear, so a single agent can watch a page and route what it finds wherever the team already works.

“The next wave of AI agents can take action, but they still need a dependable signal that something on the web has changed,” said Serge Salager, CEO of Visualping. “Our MCP makes that signal available to any agent that supports the protocol. You tell your agent what to watch in plain language, and Visualping watches it for you in the background.”

The Visualping MCP is in public beta and can be added as a custom connector using the endpoint https://visualping.io/mcp/sse.

It is available on every Visualping plan, including the free tier. A full setup walkthrough for Claude, ChatGPT, and other agents is available at https://visualping.io/blog/monitor-websites-from-claude-code-and-codex.
